Setting up your Dropbox app
Connecting to Dropbox in Xceed Analytics requires you to set up your Dropbox Oauth App. Your Dropbox OAuth App will then access the Dropbox service on behalf of Xceed Analytics users. You'll need to have each user of your app authenticate with Dropbox to both verify their identity and give your app permission to read their data on Dropbox. For more information on Oauth and Dropbox, refer to Dropbox OAuth Guide.
Follow the guidelines as in the Oauth Guide above and create an Xceed Analytics App.
-
Create a Dropbox app with the name "Xceed Analytics App"
-
On the newly created Dropbox application, search for input field "Oauth 2" Redirect URIs. Enter the URI as below:
https://Your Xceed Analytics URI/api/connector/auth_redir/
info
- "Xceed Analytics URI" must point to your Xceed Analytics Server URI to ensure appropriate working of the connector.
