Multiple compute/execution environments supported for workflow designer and SQL

Xceed Analytics now integrates multiple open source execution environments helping you optimize your Analyst and DE workload costs. These are today supported both from Workflow Designer (DE pipelines) and SQL Interface (Analyst Workflow). This release announcement enables support for the following engines:

Following are some of the key highlights of this all important analyst productivity page.

  1. Store queries as view for retriving the same in future.

  2. Download query results as CSV.

  3. Write adhoc queries using multiple execution environments, once that fits the use case and run instantly across multiple virtual execution environments.

Following are the steps to use all new SQL Query Editor

  • Log in to your Xceed Analytics account

  • Go to the relavant ** Home --> Query List --> SQL Query View **

  • Get started with asking your sql question

Download data of a story after drill

With Xceed Dashboards and Stories, you always had the ability to download the summary data underlying the story as a csv. With this feature release, you now have the additional capability to explore and drill to any level of summarization and then download the data as csv for further action at that level of drill.

Following are the steps to follow to download data after drill.

  • Go to the relavant ** Space --> Dashboard --> Story **.

  • Right-Click and Drill by any variable/column.

  • Click on + button and select ** 'Download as CSV' ** option.

  • Dataset at the particular drill level shall now be available in your ** Download ** directory.
